About Us

MassGunOwnership.com is a joint effort by the Blue Northern Trading Co. and local instructor Jim Finnerty to provide comprehensive, affordable, and efficient training for people that have never owned a firearm, or for those that have relocated from out-of-state and require a training certificate for a Massachusetts firearms permit.

Jim is a Massachusetts State Police and NRA-certified instructor with over 25 years of training experience, Director-At-Large of the Gun Owners' Action League (GOAL), and Vice President of the Shirley Road and Gun Club.



 

Blue Northern Trading Co. is a third generation family business that has been servicing the needs of the hunters and sportsmen in North Central MA for over 30 years.

Blue Northern carries a complete line of MA compliant handguns, rifles, shotguns, ammunition, and acceassories. Their friendly expert staff is ready to provide personal consultation and guidance on any of your sporting needs.
